Prior to co-founding Energy Spectrum, Mr. Tassin held executive financial positions with MESA Inc. (the oil and gas firm founded by Boone Pickens), and its predecessor companies from 1980 to 1994, including serving as chief financial officer from 1988 to 1994. Throughout this period, Mr. Tassin led a wide range of investment, acquisition, financing and recapitalization transactions. These transactions included issuances of common, preferred and partnership equity interests; public and private senior and subordinated debt; bank credit facilities; joint venture and partnership structures; exchange offers; and recapitalizations. Through these transactions and numerous others, Mr. Tassin gained experience evaluating complex asset and business structures, and dealing with a broad range of operating and financial issues.
